How to Connect Your Slideshow with a Cable (HDMI or VGA)

Modified on Tue, 6 May at 4:51 AM

The simplest way to display your Pixel Party slideshow on a larger screen such as a TV or projector

is by using a direct cable connection from your laptop.

? What You’ll Need:

  • A laptop with an internet connection

  • A HDMI or VGA cable (depending on the input supported by your display)

  • A TV or projector with an HDMI or VGA input

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open the slideshow link on your laptop.

    • Log in at app.pixelparty.site

    • Select your event

    • Click “Event QR Code”

    • Copy and open the slideshow link in your browser (we recommend Google Chrome)

  2. Connect your laptop to the external display using the HDMI or VGA cable.

  3. Switch the TV or projector input to the correct source (e.g., HDMI 1 or VGA).

  4. Your display should now mirror your laptop screen, showing the Pixel Party slideshow.

? Pro Tips:

  • Press F11 (Windows) or Control + Command + F (Mac) to enable full-screen mode and remove browser clutter.

  • Keep your laptop plugged into a power source to avoid it shutting down during your event.
