How to Display Your Pixel Party Slideshow Using Google Chromecast

Modified on Tue, 6 May at 4:50 AM

If your TV or monitor supports Google Chromecast, you can easily cast your Pixel Party slideshow from your laptop directly to the big screen—no cables required.

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • A TV or display with built-in Chromecast or a Chromecast device connected

  • A laptop with Google Chrome installed

  • Both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network

? Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Open your slideshow link on your laptop:

    • Go to Pixel Party and log in

    • Select your event and click “Event QR Code”

    • Copy and paste the slideshow link into a new Google Chrome tab

  2. In Chrome, click the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the browser window.

  3. Select “Cast” from the dropdown menu.

  4. In the “Cast to” window, select your Chromecast-enabled TV or device from the list.

  5. Your browser tab will now appear on your TV.

  6. Go full-screen in Chrome (press F11 on Windows or Control + Command + F on Mac) to make the slideshow fill the entire screen.

? Pro Tips:

  • Connect your laptop to a power source so it doesn’t run out of battery during the event.

  • Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong for smooth casting.

  • Don’t close the slideshow tab—your TV depends on it to display the content in real time.
