If you’re using a MacBook and want to wirelessly show your Pixel Party slideshow on a screen connected to Apple TV, you can easily do so using AirPlay.

✅ What You’ll Need:

  • A MacBook

  • An Apple TV connected to your display

  • Both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network

? Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. On your MacBook, click the Apple logo in the top-left corner and go to System Preferences (or System Settings on newer macOS versions).

  2. Click on Displays.

  3. From the AirPlay Display dropdown, select your Apple TV.

  4. If available, check the box that says:
“Show mirroring options in the menu bar when available.”

  5. You should now see the AirPlay icon (a rectangle with an upward triangle) in the menu bar at the top of your screen.

  6. Click the AirPlay icon and select your Apple TV from the list.

  7. Your MacBook screen should now be mirrored on your TV.

  8. Open your Pixel Party slideshow link in your browser:

    • Go to Pixel Party, log in, select your event

    • Click “Event QR Code” and open the slideshow link

  9. Once the slideshow opens, press Control + Command + F to go full screen for the best viewing experience.

? Pro Tips:

  • Keep your MacBook plugged in during the event to avoid running out of battery.

  • Full screen removes distractions and gives a clean, edge-to-edge slideshow experience.

  • For smooth performance, ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable on both devices.
